Field Trip Reminders

Field Trip Reminders:

Our field trip is this Thursday, October 20th.  We will load the buses at 8:10. Please make sure your child is at school on time.

The cost per child is $6 cash.  Please turn this in to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, October 19th.

If you did not sign up for a cafeteria lunch, please make sure your child has a sack lunch and drink with their name on it.

Parents are allowed to come to the Oil Museum and walk with their child only while they tour the museum with their homeroom.

If you plan on coming, you MUST come to the office and sign in through our RAPTOR system and get a visitor tag before going to the Oil Museum.  At the Oil Museum, you will be required to pay $6 for your admission.

Students will be allowed to be checked out with their homeroom teacher after lunch at the park.

October 17-21

  1.  Please study the squares multiplication facts & 2’s .  We will have a quiz this Wednesday, August 24th on squares and 2’s only.   We will add the 5’s and have a quiz over squares, 2’s and 5’s on Friday, August 26th.

2.  Math homework will be sent home each Friday and due the following Thursday.

Science Learning Goal:  Inherited Traits 

(4.10B)  Explore and describe examples of traits that are inherited from parents to offspring such as eye color and shapes of leaves and behaviors that are learned such as reading a book and wolf pack teaching their pups to hunt effectively

Math Homework:  Squares 

**A letter will be sent home on Monday explaining how we will study for our multiplication facts and when they will be tested.  Please sign and return.

Please study the squares multiplication facts.  We will have a quiz this Friday.  The squares are the “doubles” 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, 7×7, 8×8, and  9×9.

Math home work will be sent home on Friday, August 19th and due the following Thursday, August 25th.
