We had a great first few days of fourth grade last week!  We have a great group of kiddos- it’s going to be a great year! Thank you for checking planners each night and signing daily- I appreciate that!

Below are our learning objectives for this week:

TEKS: Language Arts:                                                                

  • 4.12A  Compose a personal narrative
  • 4.2C Write legibly in cursive
  • 4.11Di compose complete simple sentences

TEKS:  Science:

  • 4.1A  The student conducts classroom and outdoor investigations, following home and school safety procedures and environmentally appropriate and ethical practices
VOCABULARY:  

  1.  Language Arts: literary nonfiction, narrative writing, personal experience, cursive, compose
  2. Science: safety, investigations, procedures, tools, contract
